GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, located on KSR Road in Mysore, is a renowned educational institution committed to providing quality education to its students. With a focus on sustainability and reducing carbon footprint, the institution sought out a solar energy solution to power its facilities.
To meet it sustainability goals, GSSS collaborated with Orb Energy, a leading provider of solar energy solutions, and installed a 200 kW rooftop solar system.
Following a thorough analysis of the system’s performance and its positive impact on their energy consumption and costs, GSSS decided to expand its solar capacity; with Orb upgrading to a 200 kW rooftop solar system. The institution now saves annual saving of 20 lakhs per annum, thanks to the rooftop solar system from Orb Energy.
