About Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust

Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust was established in 1972 by the revered Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Dedicated to the ideology of love, selflessness, and universal welfare, the Trust engages in charitable activities across diverse sectors, including education, medical care, social service, and water resources.

Recognizing the need for an eco-friendly and efficient power source, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust collaborated with Orb Energy to design and install
multiple cutting-edge solar solutions for Prashanti Nilayam.

Orb Energy designed and implemented a total of 4-megawatt rooftop solar systems at the primary locations in Bangalore (Karnataka) and Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh). By generating an impressive 16,000 units of solar electricity daily, rooftop solar power critical functions within the complex also reflect the commitment of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust to a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
