About Venilakshmi Mills’ 165 Kilowatt Rooftop Solar System
Venilakshmi Mills has leaped to sustainable energy by adopting a rooftop solar system with Orb Energy as their trusted solar partner.
As with most companies, the Director of Venilakshmi Mills, Mr. N Pradeep, was at first apprehensive about the long-term reliability of solar panels and access to support if there were technical problems. Orb Energy emerged as the best choice because they have in-house manufactured solar panels within India and are reputed for their after-sales services.
Orb Energy commissioned a 165 kW rooftop solar system on the factory unit in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Due to this installation, the solar panels help the company save around Rs.15 lakhs (approx. $17300 USD) every year, with a payback period of only 3 years and 5 months.
